About UsScotcher & Co was established in 1991 by Tony Scotcher who initially followed his father and uncle into local estate agents Sir Francis Pittis & Son in 1979. In the mid 1980’s that company was taken over by Prudential Property Services during which time Tony was asked to establish a branch of their commercial estate agency here on the Island. 1990 saw Tony take the bold step, as part of a management buyout, of taking on the business in his own name. and he has subsequently acted for numerous clients throughout the whole Island from offices in Newport, the Island's County Town and administrative centre. His extensive experience and local knowledge, boh of which are second to none, frequently benefit his clients and customers alike, despite market conditions. Tony was born on the Island and has experienced the ups and downs of Island life and today lives with his wife Sarah and their two children in a village in the picturesque West Wight. During early 2006 Scotcher & Co was joined by Jane Midson who moved to the Island with her family from Cambridgeshire, quickly becoming an integral and valued member of the team.
